What we do
Our Mission
ELAM Inc. provides Youth Services for young people between 8-21 years of age
Our program aims to engage with young people, their families, and key stakeholders, in a group or individual settings, within the local community to provide a variety of support including the following:

Support and Case Management

Information, Referral, and Advocacy

Assistance with living skills

Re-engagement in schooling, education, or employment

GEN Z
Open youth Room
Gen Z Youth Group is for all High School students. Gen Z meets every Tuesday during the school term from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
At meetings Gen Z discusses and plans all of ELAM's upcoming Youth Events. Gen Z also assist in the setting up and running of Youth Events.
On alternate weeks Gen Z connects with community services around Moranbah, including the Moranbah Boxing & Sporting Club, 5-Mile Equestrian Centre, volunteering, etc.
Pre-booking into this group isn’t necessary but permission forms do need to be signed by parents/guardians to attend excursions.
Our Youth Room is open from 3.00pm to 4.30pm for Youth aged 12-21. The Youth Room can be used for the following:

A qualified Youth Worker to talk to
-
Getting help with writing a resume and/or looking for a job
-
A quiet place to study
-
Access to computers, internet & printing
-
Getting assistance with Centrelink
-
A safe space to hang out with friends






Art group
Art Group is for Primary School students aged 8-11. Art Group meets Wednesday afternoons, 3:30pm to 4:30pm, during the school term.
Art Group is free. Each week is a different Activity.
Pre-booking into this group is necessary
Junior Youth
Junior Youth Group is for Primary School students in grades 4 to 6. Junior Youth meets Thursday afternoons, 3:30pm to 4:30pm, during the school term.
Junior Youth do a variety of activities such as cooking, science experiments, health & fitness, gardening, art, etc.
Pre-booking into this group is necessary.
