Amber has been part of the ELAM team since 2017, starting as Administration Officer before moving into Housing Support and being appointed Manager in November 2025.

With over 19 years of experience in community services and an Advanced Diploma of Community Services specialising in youth and homelessness, Amber is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and advocating for safe, affordable housing across the Isaac region.

As the QShelter Regional Representative, Amber works alongside community partners to strengthen local services and improve housing outcomes. She is proud to lead the ELAM team, ensuring everyone who accesses the service is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Jodie is a dedicated Housing Support Worker at ELAM who is passionate about supporting individuals, young people, and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other life challenges. She provides compassionate, person-centred support, helping clients access services, build confidence, and work towards safe, secure, and sustainable housing.

With experience in crisis accommodation, tenancy support, emergency relief, case management, and advocacy, Jodie works closely with clients to achieve positive outcomes. She is currently studying a Certificate III in Community Services and is committed to continually developing her skills to provide high-quality support to the Moranbah community.

As ELAM's Housing Administration Officer, Saje is passionate about helping people feel supported, heard, and connected to the services they need. With a background in administration and the real estate industry, she brings strong organisational skills, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting the Moranbah community.

Currently studying Community Services, Saje is dedicated to expanding her knowledge while assisting clients, organising community events, and helping develop new initiatives that strengthen ELAM's programs and services. Her caring nature and positive approach make her a valued member of the ELAM team.

Community Support Worker/Centrelink Agent

Sarah is our dedicated Community Support Worker and Centrelink Agent, committed to helping individuals and families access the support they need during difficult times. She provides friendly, compassionate assistance with Centrelink services, helping clients navigate the process and access the assistance they may be entitled to.

Sarah also coordinates ELAM's Emergency Relief Program, providing food relief, grocery hampers, and other essential support to people experiencing financial hardship. Her caring nature, approachable personality, and commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect make her a valued member of the ELAM team.

Kim is our dedicated Finance Officer who plays an essential role in keeping ELAM's financial operations running smoothly. She manages the organisation's day-to-day finances, including accounts, budgeting, reporting, and financial records, ensuring our services continue to operate efficiently and responsibly.

With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and reliability, Kim helps ensure ELAM remains financially sustainable and able to continue making a positive difference in the Moranbah community. Her expertise and approachable nature make her a valued member of the ELAM team.

Hannah is our enthusiastic School-Based Trainee who works closely alongside our Youth Worker, Rene, while completing her traineeship and finishing school. Passionate about supporting young people, she is gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing the skills needed to pursue a career in community services.

With aspirations of becoming a Youth Worker, Hannah enjoys assisting with youth programs, school holiday activities, and community events that create safe and welcoming spaces for local young people. Her positive attitude, compassion, and eagerness to learn make her a valued member of the ELAM team.
